As you can see, the Communit Facility Guaranty Fee seems to have dropped by 25BP to 1.25% from 1.50%.
This was likely done to try to stimulate lending in that program as it has expended only $69,000,000, at the time of this writing, of the the $500,000,000 budget where as the B&I program has exceeded their budgeted amount more than a few times in this FY.
By not changing the Guarantee Rates or Fees for the B&I program, I am hopeful we will see expanding funding in FY2022 to more than $1.8 Billion to ease the competition for funds and expand the reach of the program to more lending institutions and rural borrowers.
